Nemaska is located on the shores of Lake Champion, where the head office of the Grand Council of the Crees (Eeyou Istchee) and the Cree Nation Government are located. Nemaska is Cree for Place of Plentiful Fish.
Research & Public Relations
We provided research support for social and cultural development, impact assessments of resource development projects, and local and regional renewable energy feasibility and market analysis. We delivered robust and effective public and government relations services that supported various negotiations and outstanding files, including leveraging governmental funding programs and supporting ongoing engagement with stakeholders.
Business Development
Provided services in business plan writing, capacity building and marketing intiatives for several business and associations. Through targeted capacity-building programs, we equipped these entities and businesses with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to to start their businesses and thrive in their respective industries. Together, we catalyzed positive economic development and strengthened the entrepreneurial spirit within the Cree Nation of Nemaska.
Web Design & Development
We had the privilege of partnering with the Cree Nation of Nemaska to build their first-ever website, marking their remarkable entry into the digital world. Recognizing the importance of establishing an online presence, we collaborated closely with the community to understand their unique needs and aspirations. Through a tailored approach, we created a website that showcased the rich cultural heritage, values, and initiatives of the Cree Nation of Nemaska. This digital platform not only connected them with a global audience but also served as a hub for sharing information, fostering community engagement, and promoting their vision for a vibrant future.
Video Productions
From capturing cultural documentaries to covering events and crafting engaging promotional videos, we worked with various departments to bring their stories to life. With a deep understanding of the importance of preserving and sharing cultural heritage, we created videos that showcased the rich traditions, values, and aspirations of the Cree Nation of Nemaska. Many of these works are still in DVD format and we are in the process of tranfering them over to streamable media.
