Located on the shores of Lake Champion, Nemaska (Cree for "Place of Plentiful Fish") is the administrative hub for the Grand Council of the Crees (Eeyou Istchee) and the Cree Nation Government. Our work with Nemaska has focused on providing holistic support to foster economic development and strengthen community initiatives.
Our collaboration has involved a wide spectrum of services, from high-level research and public relations for the Nation to hands-on business plan development and marketing initiatives for local associations and entrepreneurs within the community.
- Research & Public Relations: We provided critical research support for social and cultural development, including impact assessments of resource projects and renewable energy feasibility studies. Our public and government relations services supported various negotiations and helped leverage governmental funding programs to advance the Nation's goals.
- Business Development & Capacity Building: We worked to catalyze positive economic development by providing services in business plan writing, marketing initiatives, and targeted capacity-building programs. We equipped local businesses and associations with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to thrive, strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit within the Cree Nation of Nemaska.
We have designed and developed several versions of the community website, ensuring it serves as a valuable gateway to engage with residents and showcase their vibrant culture. In parallel, we worked with various departments to bring their stories to life through video, from capturing cultural documentaries to covering events and crafting engaging promotional videos.
